Mauricy MARTIN

 

Professor at the State University of Campinas, he stands out for his performance as a pianist and educator in Brazil, USA, Hungary, Italy, Serbia, Argentina and Paraguay. As an orchestra soloist, he performed under the baton of Aylton Escobar, Benito Juarez, Claudio Cruz, Eduardo Ostergren, Julio Medaglia, Carlos Fiorini and Lutero Rodrigues. Prof. Martin taught masterclasses at major Brazilian universities and schools music; in the USA he taught at Georgia State University, Cinccinatti Conservatory of Music, Indiana State University, Meredith College, Western State University of Connecticut, Northwestern State University of Louisiana, Southern University, Universith of North Dakota; in Paraguay: at the Universidad Nacional de Asuncion and the Isidor Bajic School of Music in Serbia.

 

Mauricy Martin is frequently invited as a teacher and pianist at festivals in Brazil such as the International Festival of Brasilia; Festival of Spheres (SP); Londrina Festival; Fundação das Artes Festival (SP); International Meeting of Pianists of Tatui, International Meeting of Pianists of Piracicaba. Abroad, he was a professor at the International Meeting of Pianists in Mar Del Plata (Argentina); Resonant Thoughts (Italy) and Serbia is Artistic Director of the Backa Palanka International Piano Festival. Mauricy Martin obtained a Master's Degree from the Jacobs School of Music and a Doctorate from Boston University.
